How much does a man and a van cost?
We don’t do hidden fees. Your price depends on how much gear you’ve got, the distance, and how many lads we need for the lifting. Give us a shout for a proper, fair quote before we start.
Aye, absolutely. We’re fully covered with Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurance. We treat your gear like it belongs to our own mam, but you’ve got total peace of mind just in case.
We run a trusty, clean Transit. It’s perfect for squeezing down tight streets but still big enough to swallow a massive amount of gear. For huge jobs, we just do multiple quick trips.
Up to you. You can save some cash by having everything boxed up and ready by the door, or we can lend a hand with the packing if you don't want to wreck your back.
Aye, we can. If you've got giant wardrobes or beds that won't fit through the door, we’ll bring the tools, strip them down, and build them back up at the other end. Just let us know when booking.
Aye, we do all the messy jobs. We are fully registered waste carriers, so you can rest easy knowing your rubbish is disposed of properly and legally, never fly-tipped.
We can't move dangerous stuff like gas canisters, loose petrol, or hazardous chemicals. For rubbish clearances, we can't take asbestos or old car tyres because the local tips won't accept them. Everything else is fair game.
Nee hidden penalties here, but please tell us beforehand if you're on the top floor of a flat with no lift. It takes a bit more time and muscle for the lads, so we just factor that into your initial quote.
Aye, usually. If there’s a spare seat upfront next to the driver, you’re more than welcome to hop in and save yourself a taxi fare. Just let us know when booking so we can keep the seat clear.
We keep going. A bit of wet weather won't stop us. Your gear is safe inside the van, and we use proper protective covers to make sure your mattresses and sofas don't get ruined between the house and the doors.
Aye, we don’t just stay local. If you’re moving across the country or bringing a load back up North, we can sort it. Just give us the postcodes and we’ll work out a fair flat rate for the mileage.
Weekends fill up rapid, so try to give us a week or two of notice. But if you’re stuck in a last-minute nightmare because someone else let you down, call us and we’ll try to squeeze you in.
Nice and simple. We take cash on the day once the job is done, or you can do a quick bank transfer before we head off. No complicated setup, no drama.
